Where to Start

Used gear is abundant on Facebook Marketplace, Play It Again Sports, Sideline Swap and local hockey groups. The internet is full of gear from people who skated twice and quit. A used full set can run $100-300.

You can go to Monkey Sports or Pure Hockey to try on gear and get a feel for the sizing before buying used.

You can buy new gear which could run closer to $500+.
